Our Google Business Profile is where customers leave public reviews of our work. It shows the current rating and every review, with the reviewer’s own account attached — which is what makes a review checkable in the first place. Read our reviews on Google.
If we have worked for you and you are happy to say so, please leave your review there rather than sending it to us: it stays under your control, and anyone considering us can see it alongside the rest.
How to check any solar installer — including us
Four checks take about ten minutes and apply to every quote you get, not just ours.
1. MCS certification, per technology
Search the installer on the MCS certified installer directory and check the technology matches the work you are buying — solar PV and battery storage are certified separately. It matters beyond quality: Smart Export Guarantee payments require an MCS-certified installation.
2. Companies House
Look up the company number and check the registered name matches the one on your quote, how long it has traded, and that accounts are filed. A trading name on a leaflet is not a company.
3. Consumer code membership
HIES, RECC and similar consumer codes publish their own member directories. Check membership on the code’s website rather than taking a logo on a website as proof, and ask what the code actually covers: deposit protection, workmanship warranties, or both.
4. Reviews that are attached to a person
Prefer platforms where a review is tied to an account with a visible history — Google, Checkatrade, Trustpilot — over quotes printed on a company’s own site, which anyone can write. Read the middling reviews as well as the five-star ones, and look for how the company answered a complaint.
What we publish here
We do not publish testimonials we cannot attribute to a named, verifiable source. Quotes without a checkable origin tell you nothing about an installer, and since April 2025 fake reviews have been a banned practice under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
What we can point to instead is the work itself: an MCS-certified installation, the commissioning records and warranty documents handed over at the end of it, and the reviews our customers choose to leave in public.
